Dr Timothy Tan graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1991. He spent the following two years as an associate in private practice in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, followed by a year of travel in 1994. During his travels, he started work as a journalist, writing about his two favourite topics, wine and sport. It was also during this time that he met his future wife, Bernadette. In 1996, they moved back to Perth where Tim returned to private practice as a sole practitioner in Raine Square, in the Perth CBD. In 1999, he began full time study for his Masters degree and also started part time work at St Quentin Avenue Dental Clinic (as it was known then). After obtaining an advanced MBA in finance in 2000, Tim began full time work at St Quentin’s, becoming a partner in 2002. Tim enjoys practising all aspects of dentistry but in particular he enjoys the challenge of cosmetic and implant dentistry. Tim and his wife Bernadette now have three sons who attend school locally.
